First week of Kids' and Teen Acadamy great succes

It's been a fantastic first week this season for European Snowsport's Kids' and Teen Academy. The Kids' Academy is for skiers between 6 and 12 and runs exciting 5-day, 5 half-day or weekend programmes at 5 different ability levels.

The Teen Academy is a week full of exploring for skiers and riders of 13 years and over. In small groups we kick off the week with skiing and on Tuesday we challenge our snowboardingskills. It's great fun trying tricks on snow blades on Wednesday. On Thursday we set off on telemark skis. To finish the week with a blast we head for the funpark on skis where we do tricks, air and find lots of new challenges.

European Snowsport celebrates first birthday

On Thursday December 16th all ES-instructors, staff and guests celebrated European Snowsport's first birthday. The T-bar at the Place Central was transformed to a fantastic party setting complete with champagne and delicious food. Skischool director Julian Griffiths has a clear vision about the future of the skischool: 'We want to be the best snowsportsschool in Verbier. All our instructors are qualified and carefully selected. With the wide variation of products we offer to our clients, we want to change the face of ski and snowboard tuiton.'
While the celebrations continued inside, big snowflakes started falling outside to cover Verbier and the mountains in a beautiful, white blanket.
